The course starts with a classroom session in which a top rally driver will brief you on the special stages and the techniques required to drive a Rally Golf on the limit.
Now it is your turn behind the wheel of a Golf GTi Rally car. You'll always be spending quite a lot of time sideways, but by the end of the session you should have it sorted out. This is unlike any normal road driving with constantly changing road surfaces to test your skills.

After a short break it's back into the Golf for another practice lap and then for the real challenge, your chance to have a go against the clock. Following your run the instructor will give you a written appraisal to keep.
A change of surface now, and on to the tarmac stage. As before you will start with rally driver demonstration laps to show the correct lines and the different techniques you will have to adopt.
Helmets back on again and your turn to have several runs over the 1.2 mile tarmac stage in the Rally Golf GTi. Once again you will have an instructor with you to navigate and instruct you.
Following a short break you will be back in the Golf for another practice lap and timed lap. The instructor will be with you to get the best out of your driving. Once again you will be given a written appraisal.

The cost of this course is £109 for a midweek date and £129 on a Saturday which includes VAT

The Golf Rally Course starts at 9.00am and will finish at approximately 1.00pm. On each session four drivers will share a car and an instructor. This means you will only have to wait for three people before it is your turn again, giving you maximum driving time.
